Dr. Gardner has a Certificate in Project Management and is a licensed psychologist and a Fellow and Diplomate in the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists & Psychodiagnosticians. She has performed extensive usability testing and voice of customer research projects for companies such as Mitchell Medical, ThermoFisher (Life Technologies), Quest Diagnostics Clinical Trials Division, and Cardinal Health. She is a part-time professor at California State University at Fullerton in the graduate-level certificate program in Customer Experience and User-Centered Design.

As we think about design in the digital world, these two areas (creativity and intelligence) must be inextricably linked together. It's my belief that real creativity flows out of smart, well planned Design Thinking. The stage is set in the early phases of the design process: Research, Persona Identification, Use Case Scenarios, Workflows & Wireframes—and ultimately leads to creative breakthroughs in the Concept Exploration, Design and Implementation phases. Recently, these "breakthroughs" have resulted in new Intellectual Property for our customers through multiple patent filings.
